Medical Pavilion

Once upon a time, this place would make you better, but that's been turned on its head. Notable establishments include the abandoned dental surgeries, Steinman's Aesthetic Ideals, and the Eternal Flame crematorium.

Neptune's Bounty

Rapture's first fishery, the majority of this area is taken up by the expansive wharf and packing areas. It also boasts the Fighting McDonagh's Tavern, Fontaine Fisheries, and (if you can find it) the Smuggler's Hideout.

Arcadia

The living heart and lungs of Rapture. Its rolling forests, glens and picturesque Tea Garden have been overrun by the grotesque Saturnine cult, and the Research Centre is heavily defended by security turrets.

Fort Frolic

Where high-class theatres rub shoulders with strip clubs, pubs with wineries, dance-halls with brothels. In both the Atrium and Poseidon Plaza, a good number of the establishments are blocked off or destroyed, and the crowds these days are coated in plaster and bleed when you hit them.

A nest of gallows, many still home to their slowly-rotting final victims. Apollo Square was the hub of all the transportation routes, and leads off to the working-class Artemis Suites. To the south, in Hestia, the Home for the Poor and Little Sister's Orphanage can be found.

Point Prometheus

There's a huge library here, and a great many labs that were once involved in high-tech industry -- including the creation and mental conditioning of Big Daddies and Little Sisters. What used to be a museum is now the Armoured Escort Proving Grounds.
